Historical enterprise application
CoreHR
An enterprise human-resource information system covering employee lifecycle, payroll, attendance, assets, disciplinary actions, benefits, government contributions, and reporting.
What this project proves
- Complex HR and payroll domain modelling
- Long-lived operational workflow design
- Enterprise reporting and administrative systems
- Legacy-system modernisation awareness
The problem
Organizations needed one integrated view of employee records, timekeeping, payroll, leave, benefits, assets, and reporting.
The system unified these workflows at a time when they were otherwise spread across disconnected tools and manual processes.
My approach
Model employee history and administrative workflows across HR, payroll, attendance, issued assets, and reporting.
Publish a sanitized schema and codebase for portfolio value while clearly identifying legacy practices and modern alternatives.
Architecture and engineering choices
- Legacy PHP application
- MySQL schema
- Dockerized portfolio setup
- Modernization plan for APIs, React, ORM, cloud, CI/CD, and observability
Truthful scope and boundaries
- No production data is included.
- The project is not presented as current production-quality code.
